On Monday, the tribunal heard call records and information obtained from phones logged Ms Wandelt persistently requesting Madeleine's mother for a DNA test throughout the past two years.

Madeleine's disappearance in 2007 - as a three-year-old during a vacation in Portugal - is considered the most covered missing child cases and is still unsolved.

'I Do Not Need Money'

Another voicemail, shared in court, documented Ms Wandelt saying: "I realize I'm overweight and plain like Madeleine was, but I feel what I believe."

While a separate message of Ms Wandelt's monologues with Mrs McCann's recording said: "What if there is a small chance that I'm her? What then? Wouldn't that be crucial for you?"

"I do not need money, I maintain a living here in Poland, I just want to discover," the message continued.

The jury was advised that by means of electronic messages, text messages and communications, Ms Wandelt requested a biological test, transmitted childhood photos to her phone in a bid to demonstrate a likeness to Mrs McCann's vanished daughter, and claimed to have "memories" from a youth with the McCanns.

Robert Jones, an intelligence analyst with Leicestershire Police who compiled the data, advised the court there "showed no any answers" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt also contacted acquaintances of the McCanns, based on the communication logs.

On October 9th, 2024, Gerry McCann responded to a phone call from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, stating she had "incorrect contact information."

During that incident Ms Wandelt left a recording on Mrs McCann's recording stating "I will persist and I plan to establish my position."

The court learned the co-defendant developed a association online with Ms Wandelt before assisting her on a visit to the McCanns' home in the county in December 2024.

Phone records showed Mrs Spragg had communicated using WhatsApp to Mrs McCann to state the press had characterized Ms Wandelt as "mentally unstable" but that she ought to be treated respectfully in the period before the visit to that location, the county, in last December.

The court heard correspondence between the two accused, in that autumn, discussing endeavoring to acquire Mrs McCann's DNA samples from her trash or from silverware at a dining venue.

"We have to take action," the co-defendant informed Ms Wandelt.

On the night of the appearance to their home, the defendant dispatched a communication which said: "We find ourselves sitting adjacent to the McCanns' house with our lights out similar to detectives. I had hoped to do this with Peter Andrew I didn't imagine I would be engaged in this with the McCanns."

The trial proceeds.
